We’re rapidly approaching the premiere of Westworld season 3, and HBO has released some glossy new photos from the first episode, as well as synopses and runtimes for the first four episodes of the season.

Season 3 will consist of eight episodes. Returning favorites include Evan Rachel Wood (Dolores), Thandie Newton (Maeve), Ed Harris (the Man in Black), Jeffrey Wright (Bernard), Tessa Thompson (Charlotte), Luke Hemsworth (Stubbs) and Rodrigo Santoro (Hector Escaton). Joining them are newcomers Aaron Paul (Caleb), Vincent Cassel (Serac), Lena Waithe (Ash), Scott Mescudi (Francis), Marshawn Lynch (Giggles), John Gallagher Jr. (Liam), Michael Ealy (Jake) and Tommy Flanagan (Conells).

The season 3 premiere is titled “Parce Domine,” which is a Roman Catholic antiphon. It’ll run for 70 minutes. It was written by showrunners Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan and was directed by Jonathan Nolan. “If you’re stuck in a loop, try walking in a straight line,” reads the synopsis. That’s really more advice than synopsis, but sure.

The second episode is titled “The Winter Line,” and will run for 60 minutes. It was written by Matthew Pitts and Lisa Joy and was directed by Richard J. Lewis. “People put up a lot of walls. Bring a sledgehammer to your life.” These synopses are really applicable to your daily life.

Episode 303 is titled “The Absence of Field,” and is again a flat hour. It was written by Denise Thé and was directed by Amanda Marsalis. “If you don’t like what you see in the mirror, don’t blame the mirror.” I’ll blame what I want.

Finally, we have “The Mother of Exiles,” which bumps the runtime back up to 70 minutes. It was written by Jordan Goldberg and Lisa Joy and directed by Paul Cameron. “The truth doesn’t always set you free.”

So the titles and synopses are a bit cryptic, but that’s no surprise for Westworld. Also, Marshawn Lynch’s character is named Giggles and I think I already might have my new favorite character. Sorry, Caleb (Aaron Paul).

Also, does Lena Waithe’s character, Ash, look like the boss of the gang Caleb belongs to? I’m digging her vibe.

All eight of these photos come from the season 3 premiere, so it looks like we’re going to need all 70 minutes to make the introductions, as well as catch up on how the characters we know are doing since the explosive events of season 2.

Westworld season 3 premieres on Sunday, March 15.
