Fandom Madness Elite 8: Vote your favorite character onto the next round!

facebooktwitterreddit

Sixty-four of the most beloved characters from science fiction and fantasy entered our Fandom Madness tournament, and after three rounds, only eight remain. With characters from everything from His Dark Materials to Supernatural to Game of Thrones to Star Wars represented, the field was broad. Now however, entire fandoms have been eliminated, and while some of the heavyweights remain, there are some surprises as well. Moving into the our Elite Eight, it’s good to be a chosen one. Or a villain.

First up, Jon Snow and Aragorn throw down in a battle of good-looking-but-reluctant heroes. Jon took out fellow chosen one Harry Potter last round, while Aragorn took down Tyrion Lannister. The Harry Potter fandom still has hope however, albeit it might be the one they’re most eager to cheer for, as Voldemort faces off against Han Solo.

On the flip side of our bracket, the tournament’s most surprising contender, Lucifer, continues his seemingly unstoppable march! After taking down Darth Vader, Lucifer now runs up against the son, Luke Skywalker. And in our final matchup, a pair of wizards square off, with Gandalf and The Wheel of Time’s Moraine battling for magical supremacy.

And now, the polls! Voting for this round will last until 6:00 p.m. CST tomorrow, Tuesday, March 24. As always, vote simply for your favorites!

1. Jon Snow vs. 3. Aragorn

8. Han Solo vs. 3. Voldemort

16. Lucifer vs. 2. Luke Skywalker

4. Gandalf vs. 15. Moraine Damodred

Here’s our remaining schedule:

Final Four — Wednesday, March 25, through Thursday March 26

Championship Round— Friday, March 27, through Sunday March 29

Be sure to check back and keep your favorite characters advancing!
