Colin Trevorrow shares first peek at Jurassic World: Dominion

Jurassic World: Dominion may have pressed pause on production for the time being, but writer and director Colin Trevorrow is still working on the film while staying indoors. Trevorrow took a moment to share his work-from-home setup on Instagram this week, simultaneously giving Jurassic Park fans a first glimpse of the upcoming movie. Sure, we can’t see a ton from the photo, but that won’t stop us from speculating. Check it out:

The still from Dominion, which is displayed on Treverrow’s computer, shows someone riding a bicycle on what looks like a deserted road. There appears to be smoke coming from the right side of the screen, so the rider is likely in danger. Knowing Jurassic Park, some man-eating dinosaurs probably aren’t too far behind them.

Given the twist at the end of the last movie, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, it seems that the dinosaurs once contained for human entertainment have now been unleashed on the world, meaning humans are going to have to get things back under control during the final film in the trilogy, or else work running from dinosaurs into their daily routines. That person on the bike needs to get somewhere; they don’t have time to detour to avoid a T-Rex.

Jurassic World: Dominion started filming in February, and details about the movie have been sparse thus far. It has been confirmed, however, that some of the cast members from the original Jurassic Park trilogy will be returning for the finale, including Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum. It looks like reining in the dinosaurs will be a team effort.
