The fourth season of The Last Kingdom lands on Netflix April 26. Now is a good time to catch up on the first three seasons of this excellent medieval drama!

But you’ll also want to meet some of the new faces coming to medieval England. Naturally, some of the newcomers will side with Uhtred (Alexander Dreymon), while others will be arrayed against him. Let’s meet some of the newbies that will be navigating the post Alfred world:

First up, we have Stefanie Martini, who will play Eadith, the sister of our second new face, Eardwulf, played by Jamie Blackley. Eardwulf is the new right hand of Aethelred (Toby Regbo), and we’re guessing will be less than friendly with Uhtred.

On the other hand, Uhtred can rest easy knowing that his son, Uhtred son of Uhtred…son of Uhtred, will have his back. The newest Uhtred is played by Finn Elliot. Ruby Hartley will play Uhtred’s daughter Stiorra, while Ossian Perret will play Wihtgar, a lieutenant of Uhtred’s wicked uncle Aelfric. And finally, the wild card of the bunch, Eysteinn Sigurdarson will play Sigtryggr, a new and dangerous face.

In addition to the new cast members, we’ve also got shots of your favorites doing their thing behind the scenes. First up, we’ve got the Lady Aelswith (Eliza Butterworth) posing with Haestan (Jeppe Beck Laursen):

We doubt their onscreen meeting will be as friendly.

Elsewhere, Cnut (Magnus Bruun) gets a touchup between shots. We dig the new hairstyle.

Next up, Finan (Mark Rowley) and Uhtred relax between takes:

Does that look like a seawall to anyone else? As in, the sea walls surrounding Bebbanburg? Looks like it to us!

Meanwhile, on bring your parent to work day, Rowley’s father does his best Dane impression and impales his own son with an umbrella:

The umbrella is mightier than the sword.

Moving on, Uhtred’s companion Sihtric (Arnas Fedaravicius) takes a moment after what looks like another epic battle.

Always looking fearsome, Steapa (Adrian Bouchet) poses atop his trusty steed:

Finally, we have a pair of shots of James Northcote (Aldhelm), the man responsible for taking many of the other shots above:

If you want more of that stare, tune in Sunday the 26 for season 4! We’re almost there, arselings!
