Rick and Morty, the irreverent Adult Swim show about a super-genius and his hapless grandson traveling the universe, is coming back! Fans have gotten used to long waits between new episodes, and then only getting a few at a time. Indeed, the last batch of five episodes aired late last year, and while that wasn’t a huge number, at least we don’t have to wait another year and change to get more.

Ahead of the show’s return on May 3, Adult Swim has clued us in to the new episode titles. Check it out:

The writers at Rick and Morty sure do love movie puns. We’ve got “Never Ricking Morty,” a reference to The Neverending Story; “Promortyus,” a reference to Prometheus; “Childrick of Mort,” a reference to Children of Men, and “Star Mort Rickturn of the Jerri,” a reference to Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.

And then there’s The Vat of Acid Episode. That one sells itself.

There’s also some companion programming on the way in the form of Solar Opposites, a new comedy from Rick and Morty creator Justin Roiland. Any fan of Rick and Morty will definitely see some similarities, from the off-color humor to the animation style. Watch the new trailer below:

Solar Opposites drops on Hulu on May 8. Oh jeez.

Next. “Rattlestar Ricklactica” ends this stretch of Rick and Morty on a high note. dark
