Quarantine goes on, and we’re all making the most of it. And some are making more than most. Take Lena Headey, known to Game of Thrones everywhere as Queen Cersei Lannister. Headey been delighting for a while now with her daffy shot-at-home Instagram videos. Is she cracking under the pressure of lockdown? Is she just displaying her goofy personality? All I know is that she’s pretending bananas are phones and I’m not mad at it:
And that’s just the beginning. The next day, she ups the ante with a vivacious quarantine dance, completely with hairography, lyrics made up on the spot and finger guns:
And if you have specific requests for Headey, she’s now on Cameo, meaning that, for a fee, you can have her record a message as Cersei Lannister threatening someone of your choosing. All proceeds will go to the charity Choose Love, which helps refugees.
There’s a small part of me that hopes quarantine goes on for a while longer so Headey can keep being delightfully weird, but it’s just a small part.
But really, thanks to quarantine, we’re seeing a lot more of stars’ home lives, cause what else is there to do in lockdown but cast on TikTok from your couch? For example, did you know that Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) has a LEGO Hogwarts castle in her house? See if you can spot it below:
TikTok
If you’re missing it, Yahoo Life! is here to narrow it down:
I like to think she built it herself.
We’re also seeing stars dip back into their photo albums to find throwback pics. For example, here’s Gemma Whelan (Yara Greyjoy) posting a pic of what she looked like at 20(ish) years old:
A shame she eventually shaved off the mustache.
Carice van Houten (Melisandre) is walking down memory lane, too, posting an old image of one of the most dynamic casts in television:
She also posted a very candid photo of herself pregnant with her son…like, 30-minutes-before-he-was-born pregnant:
Subsequent pictures confirm that she gave birth to a human male and not a shadow demon.
But it’s not all wacky quarantine shenanigans. John Bradley (Sam Tarly) is using his time in lockdown to team up with charity Bipolar UK. Here he is reading a passage from the book Me, Myself and Bipolar Brenda by Natasha Naomi Rea:
