The fifth season of Lucifer is due out on Netflix…sometime. But while there’s no official release date for that yet, the show’s fourth season is now available on digital and DVD, meaning fans can treat themselves to rewatches, special features and deleted scenes.
A couple such deleted scenes are already floating around the internet. In this one from Entertainment Weekly, Lucifer (Tom Ellis) is running some date ideas past Detective Chloe Becker (Lauren German). Fans know that he eventually takes her to the opera in San Francisco, but it sounds like he had a lot of other options on the table:
“Are you afraid of heights? Monkeys?” “Have you ever been on a luge?” “Are you allergic to latex?” Those all sound like dates worth taking. Can the monkeys go on the luge?
That scene was cut from the second episode of the season, “Somebody’s Been Reading Dante’s Inferno.” This next one, from Entertainment Tonight, is from the eighth episode, “Super Bad Boyfriend.” Things have changed, and Lucifer is now dating Eve, but has to break up with her. Chloe is all for that, but it’s easily said than done:
Alright, so that’s over one whole minute of new Lucifer content! Are fans satisfied, or are we back to refreshing the Netflix homepage waiting for season 5 to show up?
