Take the Black Live: How do we feel about the Game of Thrones finale one year later?

Welcome to Take the Black Live, the show where we pour out souls into the gaping maw of the internet, so they you may sup and sup well. It’s an emotional one.

Why? Because we’re talking through our feelings about the Game of Thrones series finale a year after the fact to find out if our emotions have softened. They haven’t, mostly. Join us on our journey of self-discovery.

Before that, we also talk through the bevy of Star Trek shows suddenly barreling towards, the surprise news that HBO Max is going to release the Snyder Cut, the even more surprising news that Ruby Rose is leaving Batwoman after one season in the title role, and whether now is a good time to air The Stand, a Stephen King epic about a virus that wipes out most of the human population.

Y’know what? This episode is emotional even before we get to the Game of Thrones stuff.
