UNIT has faced many unforgettable monsters over the years: the Daleks; the Zygons; the Cybermen, and so many others. But there has been one exception to this. One monster that you definitely can’t describe as “unforgettable”. Back in 2016, UNIT faced a race of monsters that they couldn’t even remember in the Doctor Who audio spin-off box set, UNIT: Silenced.
The third volume of the audio series starring Jemma Redgrave as Kate Stewart and Ingrid Oliver as Osgood is quite possibly one of its strongest. Don’t get me wrong, most volumes of UNIT are fantastic and thoroughly entertaining to listen to.
