Things continue to be very heavy on Take the Black Live, as we tackle the topics of how the entertainment industry is responding to the Black Lives Matter protest and dig into Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling’s inexplicable decision to use this time of upheaval to double down on her transphobia. No month like Pride Month for this stuff, right?

Towards the end, we also talk about Netflix’s commitment to making a Narnia TV show happen, something we thought they’d dropped for a minute, and did you know that the guy who played the Mountain on Game of Thrones is shopping around a reality show where he competes with athletes in feats of strength? Whimsy lives on.

We’ll be back next week at 4:00 p.m. CST to take through the great questions of our time, which at this point could include anything from fixing the American justice system to arguing how many Star Wars legacy characters on The Mandalorian season 2 is too many.
