Even after all this time, David Tennant’s run as the Tenth Doctor marks a high point for Doctor Who. We look back at his 10 best episodes.

Over the years, Doctor Who has given fans some of the most intelligent, thought-provoking episodes on TV. While some are just for giggles and laughs, others have gone above and beyond to tickle our brains and push us to question our own lives, or even the nature of life itself.

That may sound a bit heavy for Doctor Who, but that dynamic variety is what makes the series so spectacular. And it was never on display like it was during David Tennant’s tenure as the Tenth Doctor.

When I look back on the Doctor Who reboot that began in 2005, I can confidently say that most, if not all, of my favorite episodes involve David Tennant. There was something special about his take on the Doctor. Whether the Doctor was contemplating the complexities of time and space or dealing with the trauma of separating from his beloved companion Rose (Billie Piper), Tennant delivered every time.

Looking back at some of those episodes in quarantine, I felt inspired to create a top 10 list. Check out my picks for the best Tenth Doctor episodes below. And if your favorite isn’t on here, share in the comments!
