There are trailers and teasers everywhere. Don’t believe me? Take a look below.
First up, we’ve got a sneak peak at the second season of The Boys, Amazon’s series about a team of rampantly corrupt superheroes known as “The Seven” and the rag-tag bunch of freedom fighters — that would be the titular Boys — determined to bring them down.
Check out the first few minutes of season 2 below, which intercut between members of Vought International discussing how to best make use of the Seven, which they control, and “hero” Black Noir slicing and dicing on a clandestine mission:
The Boys season 2 comes out on September 4.
Netflix also just put out a an official trailer for Cursed, its YA take on the legend of King Arthur, with 13 Reasons Why star Katherine Langford as Nimue, aka the Lady of the Lake:
Cursed drops on July 17, just around the corner. Look how summer is filling up!
Next up, SyFy Wire has an exclusive sneak peak at tomorrow night’s new episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., “Adapt or Die,” featuring Patrick Warburton as the mustachioed, ’70s-era agent Rick Stoner:
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is in the midst of its seventh and final season, so every hour counts.
In the world of posters, Netflix dropped one for the upcoming second season of The Umbrella Academy, out July 31.
And finally, we’re finally getting some concrete info about the upcoming fifth season of Lucifer on Netflix, including some shots of what looks like a film noir-style episode:
Satan should fit right in about the morally murky waters of film noir.
Lucifer season 5 drops on Netflix on August 21. Keep the trailers coming, world.
