[SPOILER] returns in new clip from final new episodes of Vikings

We finally know when Vikings will return for its final 10 episodes on History. And the preview clip features the return of an unexpected someone…

Grab your shields, Vikings fans: the show’s final 10 are on the way! Showrunner Michael Hirst joined cast members Travis Fimmel (Ragnar), Katheryn Winnick (Lagertha), Alex Ludwig (Bjorn), Clive Standen (Rollo) and Jordan Patrick Smith (Ubbe) for a panel at Comic-Con@Home where they took a look back at the whole series. Best of all, there’s a new clip at the end of it, but be warned, though: there’s a big SPOILER at the end of it. Ivar (Alex Høgh Andersen) and Oleg (Danila Kozlovsky) mass their forces for battle, only to be confronted by someone left for dead in the mid-season finale. Any guesses?

Indeed, that’s Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig) riding solo to meet a stunned Ivar and company. Before we start rejoicing, however, Bjorn clearly looks the worse for wear, as he struggles to breathe while slowly riding towards his enemies. Is Bjorn truly alone? Or are other Vikings waiting behind the hill to take on the invading Rus? And where the hell is Floki?

The new episodes will be here before you know it. So free up your Wednesdays, crack open some ale, and enjoy one last round of mayhem with your favorite Vikings before they head to Valhalla. Skoal!
