On-set photos show the cast and crew back at work on The Witcher

The Witcher has officially resumed filming on its second season, and we have the on-set photos from the cast and crew to prove it!

Rejoice and toss a bag of coins to your Witcher, because Netflix has resumed filming on the second season of its fantasy drama and we have the pictures to prove it.

First up, showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich shows off her PPE:

They look well protected. Also, she’s gotta be happy with her son’s good manners.

Next up, Hissrich shares an image posted by veteran director Stephen Surjik, again highlighting the efforts being made to socially distance on set:

The director and showrunner are sitting six feet apart on different sides of a plastic screen. The precautions are pretty intense, and no doubt prudent, but I wonder if it slows down the filming process.

Of course, the directors have to actually film someone eventually. Freya Allen (Ciri) is definitely either on set or soon will be; she shared an image of herself during pre-production:

Elsewhere, Hissrich shows off The Witcher production offices.

We’re guessing the background of the photo isn’t blurry on accident; don’t wanna give anything away.

Blurry photos seem to be the name of the game. This one is from Surjik, who shows us Hissrich back on the set:

Is that a mustached man we see to the right of Hissrich on the monitor, or are we so desperate for new Witcher information that our eyes are playing tricks on us?

Finally, director Sarah O’Gorman is back set as well; she’s handling Episodes 3 and 4.

It’s exciting to see the next chapter in The Witcher saga underway…again!
