There’s a new Game of Thrones video game on the market. Game of Thrones: Tale of Crows is a new idle game from Devolver Digital that puts you in charge of the Night’s Watch, charging you with making decisions throughout the organization’s 8,000-year history. Check out the trailer:

I like the Jon Snow impersonator they got for this. I like the mood in general, and the visuals are simple but effective.

So what decisions are you making, exactly? You’ll send expeditions beyond the Wall, choose what to do when they return (if they return), respond to ravens sent from all over Westeros, and make sure defenses are prepared, supplies are stocked, and that there’s a steady stream of new recruits for the Watch.

This is an “idle game,” meaning that it runs even if you’re not playing it. So the expeditions you send out will continue even when you’re away. Seasons will change, and life will go on.
