18. Asajj Ventress

Asajj Ventress was introduced in the very first episode of the animated Star Wars: The Clone Wars series as Count Dooku’s personal assistant, although this aspiring Sith warrior yearned for more. As the series evolved, so did she, and she eventually became a bounty hunter.

Asajj became known for her distinctive duel lightsabers, meaning her fighting style isn’t unlike Ahsoka Tano’s. In a way, the two are opposites.

But while Ahsoka blew up and even had a vocal cameo in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Asajj seemed to just fade away, even though she would have been a natural fit for the prequel trilogy. But there wasn’t even a mention of this fan favorite character, which is just bizarre.

It’s a shame, because this character is extremely entertaining on the animated series, and her being a bounty hunter gave the writers the flexibility to insert her into all kinds of stories. Perhaps we’ll see her on the big screen if the movies ever return to the his time period.
