The 20 best Star Wars characters who’ve never appeared on the big screen
By Callum Gunn
2. Jedi Knight Revan
Gamers will know who this guy is. And if you haven’t heard of him, prepare to meet one of the most intriguing Star Wars characters ever created.
Revan was introduced in the 2003 video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, where he was a playable protagonist. He has also featured in the Legends novel Star Wars: The Old Republic: Revan. Jedi Knight Revan has not only been on a journey like no other, but he also questions the very ideology of the franchise.
Showing great promise from an early age, Revan did not always see eye to eye with the Jedi Order. When worlds were being conquered and many innocent lives were being destroyed by the Mandalorians, the Jedi were hesitant about what to do. Revan decided to step up and defy them. He, along with his friend Malak and those who would follow him, created an army and took the fight to the Mandalorians, battling a force led by Mandalore The Ultimate.
It was during this war that Revan would emerge as a figure both praised and feared across the galaxy. The war also started Revan on a path that would shock and surprise fans, as the story continually twisted and turned in ways we didn’t initially think was possible.
There are rumors that an Old Republic Star Wars movie, potentially a trilogy, is going to be made. So there is the possibly of seeing Jedi Knight Revan on the big screen one day.
And if this happens, we will more than likely see other great characters from the KOTOR series, such as this guy…
