Marvel releases a tribute video in honor of Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman as remembrances continue to pour in from colleagues and fans:

This weekend, it was announced that actor Chadwick Boseman, best known for his performance as Marvel’s King T’Challa in Black Panther, had passed away at the age of 43 after a four-year battle with colon cancer. Stunned reactions have since poured in from costars, fans and more.

First up, Marvel shared a tribute video about Boseman’s time in the MCU. Rest in power, King.

Academy Award-winner legend Denzel Washington paid his respects, revealing that he once paid the tuition of a group of Howard University students that included Boseman. “He was a gentle soul and a brilliant artist, who will stay with us for eternity through his iconic performances over his short yet illustrious career,” Washington said in his statement. “God bless Chadwick Boseman.”

Boseman’s MCU costars also expressed their grief, starting with Angela Bassett, who plays T’Challa’s mother Queen Ramonda. She revealed a touching story about how the two originally met:

Brie Larson (Captain Marvel) also expressed her love and admiration:

Chris Evans (Captain America) expressed his gratitude for the friendship they shared:

Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man) hailed Boseman as a true hero:

And that’s just a sampling of the outpouring from Boseman’s colleagues. But the condolences didn’t stop there. Even Marvel’s rival DC voiced its respect:

Rest in power, indeed.

Meanwhile, the Tweet announcing Boseman’s passing, sent out from his account, has become the most liked tweet of all time.

Finally, and perhaps most touching of all, young fans have held their own memorials for Boseman:
