Watch the emotional trailer for the final episodes of Supernatural!

The final episodes of Supernatural will include a flashback to Young Sam and Dean, meteor showers, and the Supernatural Chevy Impala.

Supernatural has been on the air for 15 seasons. Back when it started, The CW was still called The WB; that’s how old it is. In their time, Sam and Dean Winchester have faced down demons, ghosts, ghouls, devils and finally God. How will their decade-plus journey end? We’ll find out when The CW starts airing the last crop of new episodes in October.

Before that, The CW has given us a little teaser trailer of things to come. Take a look:

“I’m supposed to kill God, but I need to complete a final ritual. Who hasn’t been there, amirite?

You know things are serious because there are lines like “This is the end” and “It’s time.” Also, it looks like we’re getting another flashback episode to when San and Dean are kids, which the show hasn’t featured in a while. And is that a Se7en reference in there, with the body tied to the bed with “lust” written on the wall in blood?

Originally, we were supposed to already know the answers to these questions. Supernatural aired the bulk of its season earlier this year, but had to stop after the coronavirus made it unsafe to shoot more. It took a while, but we’re finally in the race again, and the finish line is in sight.

The final episodes of Supernatural start airing on The CW on Thursday, October 8.
