1. Incarnations of Immortality is the kind of story that improves when you experience it again.

Incarnations of Immortality is a series that rewards close reading, and that makes you want to go back when you’re done to catch all the things you missed the first time around. The subtle nuances you miss in On a Pale Horse make more sense after having read or watched Bearing an Hourglass, which makes more sense after reading Being a Green Mother.

The same would be true for a show, except you’d be watching rather than reading. It wouldn’t just be binge-worthy; it’d be binge-worthy two times in a row. It’s hard to explain exactly how it would all come together without giving away the story, but it’d be hard to watch the culmination of the story in And Eternity and not want to refresh yourself on everything that came before. The interactions would then make a lot more sense.

Incarnations of Immortality is a lot of things. It’s a love story and it’s a fantastical trip through the realm that lies between our world and the afterlife. It’s a story of hope and faith, love and hate, war and peace. It’s an incredible journey with a character and tone we haven’t already seen on television a hundred times before.

And if we never get a show, the best part is that you can simply pick up the books and dive in.
