Rey (Daisy Ridley) decimates a platoon of Stormtroopers in some unused concept art from the Star Wars sequel trilogy, and other fun stuff.

The Star Wars sequel trilogy is fading in the rearview mirror, but we’re still getting looks at the process of making these tremendously successful (and controversial) films. There appears to be a lot of stuff the filmmakers didn’t use, from modified TIE-fighters to reduced parts for certain characters to whole movies that were scrapped after original director Colin Trevorrow left the project.

And now, concept artist Adam Brockbank has shared yet another something we never saw: an early bit of art depicting Rey (Daisy Ridley) absolutely demolishing a horde of Stormtroopers using the Force:

Fwoosh! Crack! Down they fall.

Brockbank doesn’t mention exactly how early on in the process this piece of concept art was made, but we know this moment definitely never happened in the movies. Perhaps it was more a proof of concept piece to show the kinds of stuff Rey was intended to get up to once the trilogy got properly underway.

As long as we’re on the subject of Star Wars might-have-beens, check out this video put together by Star Wars Theory exploring how Revenge of the Sith might have been different if Order 66 — the Emperor’s secret plan to kill all the Jedi — had failed:

Who needs a new Star Wars movie when you have stuff like this?
