Homelander can’t hold his milk in blooper reel for The Boys season 2

Is Homelander from The Boys somehow even creepier when he’s messing up his lines and trying to chug milk without laughing? Based on this blooper reel, yes.

The Boys, Amazon’s gleefully violent superhero satire, is officially a hit. And the recently released second season is even better than the first!

We have a while to wait a while for season 3, but in the meantime, Amazon has released a season 2 blooper reel for our enjoyment:

My favorite part of this is that Homelander (Antony Starr), the show’s twisted version of Superman, somehow comes off crazier in the bloopers than he does on the show. Starr’s attempt to chug milk without breaking out laughing is the highlight of the video! Although you’ve also got to love Starr bursting out into laughter while talking about one of the major character deaths.

And of course, when Karl Urban messes up a line, he curses. He and Billy Butcher are alike in that way. Finally, kudos to Jack Quaid (Hughie Campbell) for what I think is his impression of Pennywise the Clown dancing in the sewers.

There’s plenty to enjoy in this gag reel. I suggest to watch it now, and then watch it again when you’re having a bad day, because it’s sure to put a smile on your face.
