Lyanna Mormont died a hero’s death on Game of Thrones. Now, actor Bella Ramsey is back on His Dark Materials, this time playing the bad guy!

His Dark Materials is officially back…in the UK. The first season of the HBO-BBC fantasy series was solid, and the second promises to be even better. And while HBO subscribers will have to wait a week to start watching the new episodes, BBC One viewers saw the premiere last night, and were pleasantly surprised to see a Game of Thrones vet join the cast!

Who exactly? Bella Ramsey, the fan favorite who played pint-sized Northern noblewoman Lyanna Mormont, the little girl who put the rest of the Northern lords in their place and helped make Jon Snow King in the North.

In His Dark Materials, Ramsey plays Angelica, a young girl from the city of Cittàgazze, where all of the adults have disappeared. Lyra (Dafne Keen) and Will (Amir Wilson) both found themselves in Cittàgazze after the events of the season 1 finale, and now have to deal with Angelica and her gang of parentless children. It’s a bit of a Lord of the Flies situation they’ve walked into.

It’s weird to see Ramsey play a villain rather than the hero she was on Game of Thrones, but the steel she brought to Lyanna Mormont is still very much here. And viewers were tickled to see her back in action:

Whether in Westeros or Cittàgazze, Lady Mormont is not to be messed with.

Viewers on the other side of the pond can watch the His Dark Materials season 2 premiere on November 15.
