The big ticket items are His Dark Materials, which has just kicked off on HBO, and The Mandalorian, which is humming along on Disney+. Both shows are in their second seasons. Are they getting better? Worse? Television!

We also spare a minute for George R.R. Martin’s latest update about The Winds of Winter before getting into the messy situation surrounding Johnny Depp resigning from the role of Gellert Grindelwald in the Fantastic Beasts series.
