6 predictions for The Mandalorian season 2 finale

Thrawn cometh
The upcoming episode could be Moff Gideon’s last. He’s managed to make several characters angry, and they might all be coming for him in the finale. If he is taken out of the picture, who will be the next antagonist? The answer comes in the form of an old adversary that was teased a couple of weeks ago: Grand Admiral Thrawn.
The cunning Chiss, who made a huge impact on Star Wars Rebels, is somewhere in the galaxy. The finale could give us a hint to where that is, or if we are lucky, a quick appearance a la Thanos at the end of the first Avengers movie. Or, we can see a quick shot of Thrawn’s Star Destroyer, the Chimaera. It’ll be easy to spot, as it has an engraving of the chimaera creature on its underside.
If we don’t get to see Thrawn or his ship, then his voice or a warning from Gideon would work too. Gideon could give some ominous threat like, “You don’t know who you are dealing with” before he perishes. Or Mando or one of his companions could find a recording of Thrawn addressed to Gideon before leaving the cruiser.
We are so eager to see Thrawn we’ll take just about anything!
