Game of Thrones stars Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, and Nathalie Emmanuel spread new year cheer, while Pedro Pascal has an unexpected house guest.

2021 is finally here! Somehow we made it though the never-ending morass that was 2020, and while we’re not out of the woods yet, the path is hopefully going to get a little less rocky.

I don’t need to tell you why 2020 was a difficult year for a lot of people. But maybe these new year messages from Game of Thrones stars can help lift the pall a little bit, starting with Pedro Pascal (Oberyn Martell), seen here ringing in 2021 with none other than Oscar Isaac:

This is actually the third image from a little new year’s slideshow that Pascal posted, but it’s easily the most intriguing. Both Pascal and Isaac are involved with the Star Wars franchise, Pascal as the title character in The Mandalorian and Isaac as Poe Dameron in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, but I didn’t know they were close enough to celebrate the new year together!

If any other celebrity guests wanna drop by your Instagram, Pedro, we’ll be watching.

Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) didn’t take us backstage for her new year celebration, but she and her dog did have an uplifting message:

"Ted (loook into his eyes) and I, wanted to let you know that 2021 is going to be what it will be, less making resolutions and more breathing our way through every damn beautiful day we get given on planet Earth."

Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) also rang in the new year with her canine pals:

Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson (the Mountain) celebrated the new year with his growing family:

And Nathalie Emmanuel has a simple new year message we can all appreciate:

2021, here we go.

Next. Game of Thrones star still “jealous” of the other death scenes on the show. dark
