The Mandalorian characters headed to Galaxy’s Edge theme park?

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is one of Disney’s best attractions, and if you saw the Mandalorian and Baby Yoda walking around, it would take it over the top.

If you love all things Disney and Star Wars, then Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is the place to be. The 14-acre Star Wars theme park has wonderful attractions like Savi’s Workshop, where you can design and build your own lightsaber; and the Droid Depot, where you can assemble your very own droid! If you get hungry while exploring a galaxy far, far away, don’t fret! There are plenty of awesome restaurants to try, like Oga’s Cantina or Ronto Roasters. You can even try that famous blue milk that Luke Skywalker drank in the movies at the milk stand!

Not only does Galaxy’s Edge have plenty of activities to keep you entertained, but you can also meet Star Wars characters like Chewbacca and more than a few Stormtroopers. On the other hand, there are a few characters, like Darth Vader or Luke Skywalker, that are noticeably missing from the park.

According to Collider, this is because people visit Galaxy’s Edge at a time between The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker, so characters like Darth Vader obviously can’t show up. However, there’s a rumor going around that characters from The Mandalorian will soon be added to the park. Disney historian Jim Hill believes it’s entirely possible that fans will be able to meet Din Djarin/Mando, the Child, and icons like Boba Fett and Bo-Katan Kryze.

Even though it’s just a rumor right now, the timeline matches up. The Mandalorian takes place five years after the events of Return of the Jedi, which takes place 30 years prior to The Force Awakens. Even though they might be a bit older, it’s entirely possible that these characters would still be around at that time.

You can visit Galaxy’s Edge at both Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World, although of course, it might be better to wait until the coronavirus pandemic clears up a bit.
