Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown visits the galaxy far, far away in a new deepfake video that casts her as Princess Leia from Star Wars.

Deepfake master stryder HD strikes again with the best mashup I didn’t know I needed: Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven) as Princess Leia in the original Star Wars trilogy, taking over for the late great Carrie Fisher. Watch the deepfake video below and marvel at how similar the two actresses look. I guess I’d never thought of it before:

Note that I’m not advocating for a remake of the original Star Wars trilogy here — some things are best left untouched, and it’s already gone through a lot of modifications over the years — but if Disney were going to attempt such a thing, I’d figure that Millie Bobby Brown would be one of the first people they’d call.

Not that she needs the help. Brown recently starred alongside Henry Cavill in the Netflix movie Enola Holmes, where she played Sherlock Holme’s equally ingenious younger sister. She’s starring in a new sci-fi movie from the directors of Avengers: Endgame, and of course, she’ll be returning as Eleven whenever the fourth season of Stranger Things gets around to releasing, hopefully sooner rather than later.
