With the popularity of Star Wars and Marvel Studios series on Disney+, it’s no wonder that the studio wants to give us as much bonus content as possible. Disney+ has already had great success with Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian, a making-of series about the first-ever live-action Star Wars series. And now, giving Marvel the docuseries treatment with Assembled.

SYFY Wire reports that Assembled will with interviews and inside looks at how Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is coming to life. The first installment, Assembled: The Making of WandaVision, arrives on March 12 and will go in-depth with the cast and crew of WandaVision.

It arrives at the perfect moment, launching the week after the WandaVision finale and the week before the March 19 premiere of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Now that Marvel Studios is getting back on track after being absent in 2020, there’s a great deal of excitement in the Marvel fandom as new projects launch and fans await big movies like Black Widow, Eternals and the next Spider-Man film.

Assembled is a great way to provide content to fans during “down time” between series. Additionally, the series itself doesn’t require a ton of extra effort on Disney’s park because it can be produced in tandem with the series and movies it covers. In a way, Disney+ docuseries like Assembled are the new way to provide bonus material that would have previously been included on DVD box releases.

The first episode of Assembled will feature interviews with key WandaVision cast members like Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Teyonah Parris and more. Evan Peters has not been announced as on the list, but there’s every reason to believe the actor who plays Quicksilver will find a way to make yet another surprise appearance.

Future installments of Assembled will focus on projects like The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki and Black Widow, and it’s safe to assume that other projects in Phase 4 will receive similar attention.
