Game of Thrones stars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie become parents!

Congratulations are in order for Game of Thrones veterans and real-life husband and wife Kit Harington (Jon Snow) and Rose Leslie (Ygritte), who officially welcomed their baby boy into the world over the weekend. The two tied the knot in 2018 in Scotland.
Harington’s rep confirmed to E! News that the couple is “very very happy” with the birth of their baby boy (we don’t know his name yet). Leslie revealed she was pregnant back in September 2020 with a photoshoot that showed off her baby bump. Naturally, the world noticed.
It wasn’t until a month later while speaking to The New York Post that Leslie officially confirmed she was pregnant: “I am thrilled to be expecting and I can’t wait to meet the new member of our family!”
Now here we are five months later with the birth of their baby boy, adding to the growing roster of Game of Thrones alum babies. Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) gave birth to her daughter with Joe Jonas, Willa, last July. Dare I say their babies could one day make the perfect Game of Thrones couple one day? The love story of Kit Harington and Rose Leslie
Kit Harington and Rose Leslie’s love story first began on the set of Game of Thrones when Leslie starred opposite Harington as his eventual wilding love interest, Ygritte. The onscreen romance was short-lived as Ygritte tragically died during season 4’s penultimate episode, “The Watchers on the Wall” but the real-life romance continued.

It was love at first sight for Kit Harington when he filmed Game of Thrones with Leslie in Iceland, as he revealed during a 2016 interview with Vogue Italia. “The three weeks in Iceland when we were shooting the second season,” he said when he asked to name to name his best memory from the show. “Because the country is beautiful, because the Northern Lights are magical, and because it was there that I fell in love. If you’re already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it becomes very easy to fall in love.”
Now, that’s a fairytale story if there ever was one.
