The Expanse, a sprawling drama about a future where humanity has colonized the solar system, is one of the most carefully written, engrossing science fiction shows on TV. The characters are compelling, the political drama rivals anything on Game of Thrones, and even astrophysicists are impressed by its commitment to realism.
So it’s good. Now watch the cast pull faces, fall down holes and curse as they blow takes in the blooper reel for the show’s recently wrapped fifth season:

When will we see The Expanse season 6?
The good news is that the sixth season of The Expanse is in the early stages of production as we speak. If all goes well, we could see it as early as later this year.
The bad news is that the sixth season will be the final one on Amazon Prime Video. But back to the good news, that doesn’t necessarily mean the show will end with season 6. There are three more books to adapt after that, after all, and the producers have hinted that they’re hoping to continue the show and bring us the full story.
