Indira Varma (Ellaria Sand), Mark Gatiss (Tycho Nestoris) and others joins Tom Cruise and many others in Mission: Impossible 7.

Mission: Impossible 7 is the latest in a long line of spy movies that stretches all the way back to 1996, when Tom Cruise showed us all how good he was at not touching the floor.

Mission: Impossible has gained a reputation as a solid action series, although so far, the latest movie is most famous for Cruise yelling at crew members for not following COVID guidelines. They must have gotten that sorted out, because production is back on, and director Christopher McQuarrie has announced a whole bunch of new cast members, including Game of Thrones veterans Indira Varma (Ellaria Sand)…

…and Mark Gatiss (Iron Banker Tycho Nestoris):

Other new additions include ’80s icon and Stranger Things star Cary Elwes, Deadpool 2 star Rob Delaney and The Last Ship’s Charles Parnell.

And that’s on top of the other already large cast, which includes newcomers Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Shea Whigham and Esai Morales as well as veterans Ving Rhames, Henry Czerny, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Angela Bassett and Frederick Schmidt. And of course Cruise is back as super-spy Ethan Hunt.

Varma in particular is on a roll lately. She’s also going to star in Disney’s upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series along Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen.

Mission: Impossible 7 is scheduled to hit theaters on November 19 of this year.
