The Looney Tunes gang aren’t the only Warner Bros. characters in Space Jam: A New Legacy. The studio has invited their entire roster, including Drogon and the Night King.

Over 20 years ago, Michael Jordan teamed up with Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig and the rest of the Looney Tunes gang to play a game of basketball against a group of aliens who threatened to enslave the furry animated fellows as attractions in an interstellar amusement park. Just another day in sports.

Now, in Space Jam: A New Legacy, Bugs and friends are teaming up with LeBron James, who’s son Dom (Cedric Joe) gets trapped in the “Serververse,” a digital environment ruled over by a tyrannical algorithm played by Don Cheadle. The only way LeBron can get his son back? Beat Cheadle’s Goon Squad at basketball, obviously.

But things have changed over the past couple decades. This time around, Warner Bros. isn’t content to just feature the Looney Toons players; the Serververse is home to all sorts of Warner Bros. icons, including the cast of Game of Thrones. There’s more than one reference to Westeros in the trailer above. For example, while he tumbles through the Serververse, LeBron flies past whatever planet Game of Thrones takes place on, complete with astrolabe and a diorama of King’s Landing:

Later, Drogon shows up during a flyby:

Finally, look at the far left side of this image and you’ll see a familiar face:

Yep, the Night King has come to watch this particular basketball game, as have the Scooby-Doo gang, the guys from A Clockwork Orange, and many other assorted characters owned by Warner Bros.

Warner Bros. knew what it was doing when it called it “the Serververse.” Shared universes are all the rage right now, so why shouldn’t the Space Jam sequel take place in one? Who knows where what other characters could team up with sports legends in future movies? Tom Brady teams up with the cast of Harry Potter on the football field? What if Conor McGregor found himself in Westeros and could only get out by winning a UFC tournament at Winterfell?

Anyway, Space Jam: A New Legacy comes out in theaters and on HBO Max on July 16.
