Lucifer fans still have a lot to look forward before the show ends, including the second half of season 5 and all of season 6. The two sets of episodes will be “wildly different.”

Filming recently wrapped on the sixth and final season of Netflix’s Lucifer, and the cast has been getting in their feelings over the end of the beloved show about the lighter side of Satan.

But while the cast is finished, fans have quite a ways to go. The second half of season 5 won’t air until May 28, and season 6 will close things out at an unspecified time after that. And according to co-showrunner Joe Henderson, there will be a wide variety of tones to enjoy. “Season 5B is big and epic; season six is sweet and personal,” he said during an interview with wordballoon. “I don’t even know how to compare them.” Wait, did you not just do that?

“They’re so wildly different, and yet so very much of a whole,” Henderson continued. “They’re very much part of a story going on.” He also hinted at an upcoming cliffhanger. “Like any good serial storytelling, you’re going to want to come back for season six. We will give you a pretty good reason.”

The fan community around Lucifer has been through a lot, particularly after Fox cancelled the show three seasons in only for it be revived on Netflix. They also got a shock when Netflix decided to make more seasons than originally planned; at first the series was going to end at five, but leave it to the devil to pull off a trick.

dark. Next. Under new deal, all Sony movies will head to Netflix after theatrical runs
