Game of Thrones vet Conleth Hill joins Graham Norton thriller, and more stuff
By Dan Selcke
Conleth Hill (Varys) solves a small town murder, Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei) is a fashion-forward cover model, and more Game of Thrones celebrity stuff.
As always, Game of Thrones veterans are out there getting gigs and living their best professional lives. For instance, Conleth Hill, who Game of Thrones fans will recognize as Varys, has landed the lead role in Holding, an adaptation of talk show host Graham Norton’s best-selling novel of the same name, per Wiki of Thrones. He’ll play Sergeant PJ Collins, a police officer content to shovel down comfort food and avoid most rigorous police work. But when a murder happens in his sleepy small town, he’ll have to step up and connect with the neighbors he’s avoided for most of his life.
“I’m looking forward to getting to work with [director Kathy Burke], the cast and crew, [writer Dominic Treadwell-Collins] and everyone at Happy Prince on bringing Graham’s brilliant characters and story to the screen,” Hill said in a statement. Also, Hill has hair in real life. Who would’ve thought?

Elsewhere, Gemma Whelan (Yara Greyjoy) showed off some pictures from behind the scenes of her anthology series Inside No. 9. I don’t know what’s happening in these images and I’m okay with that. Let mystery reign:
Ooh, that last one…Gemma’s in trouble.
Finally, John Bradley (Sam) appeared on the My Time Capsule podcast, where he talked about what he would put in a time capsule. Check out a preview clip below:
What will Game of Thrones stars be doing this time next week? My money’s on…something.
