Watch a teaser for Showtime’s Dexter revival, and more trailer fun

Last year, Showtime surprised people when it announced that Dexter, its seven-season about a serial killer (Michael C. Hall) with a heart of gold, would pick up where it left off: with Dexter living in some remote location, chopping down trees and trying to keep his urge to kill in check.

Now, in what seems like no time, we have a teaser of what to expect. Watch the new footage below:

Every season of Dexter saw Dexter take on a serial killer who was even worse than him. This time it’s Kurt Caldwell (Clancy Brown), the unofficial mayor of the town of Cold Lake, and a real nice guy…until you cross him. The new season of Dexter will drop this fall.

Watch trailers for Cobra Kai season 4 and M. Night Shyamalan’s new film Old

As long as we’re talking about trailers, Dexter isn’t the only game in town. Netflix just dropped a teaser for the upcoming fourth season of Cobra Kai, its action-packed Karate Kid sequel series.

There’s no word on when Cobra Kai season 4 will release, but it looks like it’ll be intense when it gets here.

Finally, Universal dropped a trailer for Old, the new film from twist-maven M. Night Shyamalan. This one is about a family that goes on vacation to a beach that makes people old. You’ll see what I mean:
