Yes, Chris Hemsworth’s Thor arms are very impressive, but can I direct you to the guns on 60-year-old Game of Thrones star Liam Cunningham?
The other day, Chris Hemsworth posted a photo from behind the scenes of Thor: Love and Thunder, partly to mark the end of filming and party to show off that his biceps are now as big as his head:
I mean, good lord, how can the human body look like that? He can probably lift Mjolnir with his pinkie finger at this point, worthy or not.
Of course, Hemsworth is playing the god of thunder and Marvel invested a lot of money getting him into shape, which is easier to do at 37 years old than at, say, 60. I mention that because Hemsworth isn’t the only actor taking himself to the gun show. May I present Game of Thrones veteran Liam Cunningham, aka Ser Davos Seaworth, looking like he just bench pressed Dragonstone:
I like the self-deprecating humor in the caption (“Keeping rigor mortis at bay at 60 is about to hit me like an eighteen wheeler”), but you don’t post a gym selfie if you’re not proud of your work, and Cunningham should be proud! He looks good for any age, let alone 60 years old.
Some of Cunningham’s Game of Thrones costars noticed, too. “Bloody hell,” commented Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark). And Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) simply left three fire emojis.
I expect Cunningham to be getting a call from Zack Snyder any day now.
