Does [REDACTED] show up in Lucifer 5B, and other cameos
Lucifer season 5 part 2 yielded many jaw-dropping moments, and featured a few surprise guests who helped move the story forward. Some of the guests were familiar faces while one celebrity guest star popped up in the most unlikely of places.
After five seasons, Lucifer has collected several guest stars who could make a comeback at any point. The devil collects favors, after all, and he can call in those favors whenever he pleases.
When Lucifer returned for the second half of season 5, fans wondered if anyone from the show’s past would make a surprise appearance given that God himself had arrived in Los Angeles. (Also, Dennis Haysbert is the perfect person to play God and hopefully he returns for a cameo in season 6.)
Guest stars and cameos in Lucifer season 5 part 2
When Maze goes looking for clues about Linda’s daughter in “A Little Harmless Stalking,” she comes across another bounty hunter on the scene. It turns out to be Eve (Inbar Lavi), who first appeared on the show in season 4. Since her departure she’s been learning the ropes so that she can be almost as effective as Maze, and it’s not long until the duo rekindles their romance.
Celebrity chef Michael Voltaggio makes an appearance in Episode 515 as Lucifer tries to win his celestial sister’s vote. Voltaggio is offered up as a bribe as Lucifer tells his sister that she will always have a table at his new restaurant if she’ll vote for him.
Rebecca DeMornay returns as Chloe’s mother in Episode 514, “Nothing Lasts Forever,” to set up a double date with Lucifer and Chloe…and God himself. Rob Benedict, who played God on Supernatural, is the man who kills Dan in Episode 515, while Tom Ellis rocks out with Debbie Gibson in the musical episode “Bloody Celestial Karaoke Jam.”
But perhaps most important is the return of Tricia Helfer. Helfer played Charlotte, Lucifer and Amenadiel’s mother and God’s estranged wife, for two seasons. She debuted in season 2 and then was whisked off to her own universe in season 3. She made a cameo appearance in the season 5 episode “It Never Ends Well for the Chicken.” Her role in the new episode “Nothing Lasts Forever” gives her a chance to smooth things out with God and take him to her universe now that he’s retired.
Thanks to Lucifer’s new omnipotence, anything is possible, and that means anyone could show up in a cameo appearance as the show heads into its final season.
