Take the Black: Disney World after COVID
By Dan Selcke
This week on Take the Black, Mia reports on her visit to Disney World. What is it like as pandemic restrictions lift? Also, is anyone else worried about Dune?
It’s time for another episode of Take the Black, where we’ve taken the bold step of sharing our opinions of pop culture online. I know, it’s very daring, but we figured someone should do it.
This week, the main topic of conversation is…what did you do on vacation? Host Mia Johnson took some time off to visit Disney World for the first time since the world stopped turning last March. It’s a good time to talk about how theme parks have changed in the age of the coronavirus, and how they haven’t. Watch the new episode below!
We talk about other stuff, too. For instance, is anyone else worried that we’re not going to get the second half of Dune, which is scheduled to release later this year? Speaking of movies from Warner Bros., what do we make of that studio’s merger with Discovery? Is this a win for TV and movie lovers?
And of course, we talk about what we’re watching. Mia is getting irritated with The Bad Batch, and I give my ice cold takes on The Nevers and Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K.
