Fire Cannot Kill a Dragon: Game of Thrones and the Official Untold Story of the Epic Series is exactly what it sounds like, and it’s coming out in paperback.

Last October, Dutton released Fire Cannot Kill a Dragon: Game of Thrones and the Official Untold Story of the Epic Series, an excellent tell-all book all about HBO’s landmark fantasy drama. The book is written by James Hibberd, who had unparalleled access to Game of Thrones set for years and filled his book with hundreds of great interviews with cast and crew, studio executives and others associated with the show. Not that I’m jealous or anything.

Anyway, over half a year on, Dutton is now putting out a paperback version of the book, and it goes on sale tomorrow, Tuesday, June 8.

The book really is a wonderful resource for any Game of Thrones fans. It traces the history of the show from the early days when creators David Benioff and Dan Weiss tried to sell HBO on a story that was supposed to be unfilmable; through the initial stumbles of the original, unseen pilot episode; through many perspectives on the show’s biggest episode; into a look at the show’s divisive final season; and finally a preview of the TV shows to come.

One more time for the people in back: the new paperback edition of Fire Cannot Kill a Dragon: Game of Thrones and the Official Untold Story of the Epic Series goes on sale tomorrow, June 8!
