Here’s something not every Game of Thrones fan may realize: Sophie Turner, who played Sansa Stark for eight seasons, isn’t actually a redhead. Sansa was her first major role, and it was an iconic one, so you’d be forgiven for assuming otherwise — she’s even cast as redheads in other things, like Jean Grey in the X-Men movies — but Turner is actually a blonde.

Turner dyed her hair red for the first several seasons of Game of Thrones, but wore a wig for the last couple. Intriguingly, she just shared on her Instagram Stories that she’s dyed it back

Is this for a new project? Perhaps it has to do with Turner joining the cast of the new HBO Max series The Staircase? OR…is Sophie Turner returning to play Sansa in a follow-up to Game of Thrones in a new miniseries that will explore her time as Queen in the North?

Speaking seriously, almost certainly not, but you’ll forgive me for getting irrationally excited anyway.

Nathalie Emmanuel poses, Lena Headey is psychic

Let’s check in with a couple of other Game of Thrones stars while we’re here. Photography Andy Gotts posted a gorgeous shot of Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei):

And finally, Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) pretends she’s psychic in the back seat of a car and then slaps the camera out of the hand of the person who’s filming her.

Queen in the North. That’s a good title for a new series, right? Sorry, I’ll stop.

Next. A paperback version of Fire Cannot Kill A Dragon is coming. dark
