The actors behind Tormund Giantsbane and Euron Greyjoy on Game of Thrones are teaming up with Zack Snyder for Twilight of the Gods.
Zack Snyder is having a very busy 2021. He’s already put out the Snyder Cut on HBO Max and Army of the Dead on Netflix, and he’s just getting started. His next Netflix project will be Twilight of the Gods, an animated series about Norse mythology where — I’m just guessing — the gods will all be really ripped and move in slow motion a lot.
There’s no trailer or even any plot details, but Netflix has unveiled the cast, which includes a few actors who will be familiar to Game of Thrones fans. Check it out:

Stuart Martin as LEIF
Pilou Asbæk as THOR
John Noble as ODIN
Paterson Joseph as LOKI
Rahul Kohli as EGILL
Jamie Clayton as THE SEID-KONA
Kristopher Hivju as ANDVARI
Peter Stormare as ULFR
Jamie Chung as HEL
Lauren Cohan as INGE
Corey Stoll as HRAFNKEL
We’ve got familiar faces like Thor, Odin and Loki in the mix; in fact, Thor is voiced by Pilou Asbæk, best known as the seafaring, dragon-killing Euron Greyjoy on Game of Thrones. Joining him is Kristofer Hivju (Tormund Giantsbane) as Andvari, who is Norse myth is a dwarf who lives underneath a waterfall and can change himself into a fish at will. has the power to change himself into a pike at will, which I’m sure comes in handy at some point, for some reason.
The rest of the cast is pretty good, too. You may remember John Noble as the mad Denethor from Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings movies, and Lauren Cohan plays Maggie on The Walking Dead.
There’s no release date for Twilight of the Gods as of yet. Interestingly, Snyder also has another Netflix project in the works: an animated spin-off of his zombie movie Army of the Dead. The guy is everywhere.
