How is Loki shaping up halfway through? Do we want more Disney remakes or are we sick of them? All that and Hodor is a pirate!

It’s time for Take the Black, the only show on the internet that dares to ask bold questions about pop culture, like: Is Loki good? Are Disney remakes good? Or are they bad? I hope we don’t blow any minds too hard with this stuff:

But seriously, this week we’re reviewing the latest episode of Loki, “Lamentis,” getting hyped for Game of Thrones veteran Kristian Nairn’s return to HBO in Taika Waititi’s Our Flag Means Death, and debating the merits of Disney’s long parade of live-action remakes of its classic animated movies. Finally, we do a news lightening round on everything we couldn’t fit into the main show.
