Tom Hiddleston is voicing Loki in a new short where the MCU crosses over with The Simpsons: “The Good, The Bart, and The Loki.”

A while back, Disney released the short film “The Force Awakens From Its Nap” on Disney+, a crossover between Star Wars and The Simpsons. It’s part of an effort on the studio’s part to “highlight the service’s marquee brands and titles” by mashing them together.

And they are not done. Today, Disney announced another Simpsons crossover: “The Good, The Bart, and The Loki,” which will star Tom Hiddleston as the MCU’s God of Mischief. There’s even a nifty poster, with Springfield residents recast as Marvel characters…you’ve got Ned Flanders as Ant-Man, Milhouse as Hawkeye, Mrs. Lovejoy as Captain Marvel (I think…) and so on. See if you can spot them all!

“Loki is banished from Asgard once again and must face his toughest opponents yet: the Simpsons and Springfield’s mightiest heroes,” reads the synopsis. “The God of Mischief teams up with Bart Simpson in the ultimate crossover event paying tribute to the Marvel Cinematic Universe of Super Heroes and villains.”

On the Loki show, the titular character spends his time hopping around dimensions and getting into all sorts of high concept trouble, so the idea of him visiting Springfield really isn’t that out of the ordinary. Tom Hiddleston will voice Loki in the short.

“The Good, The Bart, and The Loki” drops on Disney+ on July 9. After that, what else is going to cross over with The Simpsons? The Muppets? The Pirates of the Caribbean? They own everything; I’ll sure they’re find something they like.
