Game of Thrones may be a distant memory for a lot of us, but the connections actors like Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) made on set will last for the rest of his career. Case in point: according to The Hollywood Reporter, Dinklage will be reuniting with the former HBO executive Michael Lombardo as for a new overall TV deal with Entertainment One.

Lombardo is literally responsible for bringing Game of Thrones to HBO. He greenlit the series way back when and the rest is history. Back in June 2020, Lombardo joined Entertainment One as its global television president, and will now be joining forces with Dinklage’s production company, Estuary Films.

Dinklage co-founded Estuary with producer David Ginsberg back in 2016. Estuary is responsible for producing HBO’s My Dinner With Herve and I Think We’re Alone Now, both of which starred Dinklage. The new deal with eOne involves projects across multiple platforms. Dinklage is “thrilled to” join forces with his former Game of Thrones colleague. “We know this partnership is going to be an incredibly fruitful one.”

Dinklage isn’t the first Game of Thrones alum to join eOne. Series write Bryan Cogman already has a few projects in the works with them. It’s definitely going to be an interesting partnership and I’m personally excited to see what comes of it.

Kristofer Hivju (Tormund Giantsbane) plays disc golf with the pros

Kristofer Hivju (Tormund) joined the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) last year, which is the organization that encompasses “ALL disc golfers and the source for disc golf courses, tournament results, and the official rules of disc golf.”

Over a year later, the Norway native appeared at the Sula, Norway at the PCS Sula Open 2021. He played alongside Norwegian champion Knut Valen Håland, Icelandic newcomer Blær Örn Ásgeirsson, and Joran Gjelsten Lufall. See for yourself:

In case you have no idea what disc golf is, it’s a flying disc sport where the players throw the disc at a target. It may sound simple, but given that there is a professional organization involving it, it does require talent, which Hivju clearly has.

Switching gears, Game of Thrones alum Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm) recently asked self-taught chef Big Zuu, to cook him a meal while he was performing at London’s Indigo at the O2 venue; in addition to being an actor, he’s also a musician who performs under the name Raleigh Ritchie, the name of his favorite characters from Wes Anderson’s The Royal Tenenbaums.

Big Zuu isn’t exactly a professional chef, as his only experience was working for six months at Nando’s behind the grill. But he seems to have taken over the UK, cooking for celebrities all over the country. Anderson was the latest person to get to experience a delicious Big Zuu dinner; check out how it went below.

And that’s a wrap on celeb news…until next time!
