Over the last week, former Game of Thrones stars have been getting Emmy nominations, sharing behind-the-scenes teasers, and even hyping up a boxing match. Let’s start with Gemma Whelan (Yara Greyjoy), who shared a photo of herself on the set of Gentleman Jack season 2, HBO’s excellent historical drama. Whelan plays Marian Lister, a much quieter and less violent character than Yara Greyjoy on Game of Thrones.

“Werkin’ on a Sunday,” she wrote. “Marian loves a purple robe and a hot milk.”

We don’t have a release date for Gentleman Jack season 2 yet, but let’s hope we get it this year.

The Mandalorian gets 24 Emmy nominations!

Next, Pedro Pascal (Oberyn Martell) has expressed his jubilation about The Mandalorian‘s whopping 24 Emmy nominations, including one for Outstanding Drama Series. It’s tied with The Crown for the most noms of the night, followed by WandaVision (23), The Handmaid’s Tale and Saturday Night Live (21) and Ted Lasso (20).

Clearly, this is the way.

Hafthor Bjornsson (Gregor Clegane) prepares for a boxing match!

The Mountain wasn’t just a force to be reckoned with on Game of Thrones. The guy who plays him, Hafthor ‘Thor’ Bjornsson, was the literal “World’s Strongest Man” in 2018. And soon, he takes his power into the boxing ring in one of the most anticipated fights since Cleganebowl. But he’s not taking on Sandor Clegane. This is very real. He faces fellow strongman Eddie Hall in Jacksonville, Florida on Saturday, September 18.

This match has been dubbed the “heaviest” boxing match in world history. He’s been practicing hard. Will The Mountain be beaten?

Jason Momoa begins filming Aquaman 2

Jason Momoa has moved on huge projects since playing Khal Drogo on Game of Thrones, but none come bigger than Aquaman. The DCEU movie was a huge box office success, and the next installment is due for 2022. Recently, the actor revealed he’s in England to begin filming the sequel, sharing a change of hair color.

“I’m going to start Aquaman 2 tomorrow,” he said “This is the last day of the brown, I going to be a blonde.”

He’s arrived in England at a perfect time, too, since the country is going through something of a rare heatwave at the moment!

Sophie Turner’s new style!
