It’s been over a decade since AMC’s The Walking Dead captured fans’ hearts and imaginations, creating an unforgettable world where survivors fight to stay alive after the dead start walking the earth. The Walking Dead season 11 will bring the saga to an end for this group of survivors.

The Walking Dead was always something of a unicorn for network television. The show didn’t hold back from killing off main characters and depicting scenes of violence and heartbreaking tragedy. (Walker Sophia coming out of the barn, anyone?)

Season 11 will bring the survivors to the Commonwealth, the most advanced civilization they’ve encountered. After battling the Whisperers in season 10, the group has suffered great loss, and they’re trying to find ways to survive. Maggie is back, and she has her own group of people to think about in addition to her old friends, but with resources so scarce, survival isn’t certain. Does hope lie with the Commonwealth, or will history repeat itself as another community proves to be a bigger threat than the undead?
