Netflix gave fans a big treat during the Lucifer Comic-Con at Home panel when it revealed new information about the show’s sixth and final season.

At the end of season 5, the handsome devil finally expressed his feelings to Chloe after Michael killed her and sent her soul to Heaven. He risked his own demise to save her, then he returned to Earth to defeat his evil twin Michael and claim the throne of heaven.

The final season will bring closure to the series, but fans can expect a few new twists and turns. Here’s how Netflix sums it up: “This is it, the final season of Lucifer. For real this time. The devil himself has become God… almost. Why is he hesitating? And as the world starts to unravel without a God, what will he do in response? Join us as we say a bittersweet goodbye to Lucifer, Chloe, Amenadiel, Maze, Linda, Ella and Dan. Bring tissues.”

Lucifer season 6 release date

Thankfully, they won’t have to wait too long.
