Disney reveals price of Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel
If you’re looking ahead to 2022 travel, then a trip to the new Star Wars-themed hotel at Disney World might be on your radar. Though details remain scarce about Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, a new Disney Imagineering video features an inside look at the hotel.
Details have slowly emerged about what guests can expect with the immersive two-day, two-night experience. After checking in, guests are whisked aboard the ship, making it clear that they are no longer “at” Disney World.
Food at the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel will be out of this world
It’s easy to imagine guests being transported by tram or monorail of some kind between the front gate and their destination to help create the illusion of being taken off-planet. The video suggests that trips to Galaxy’s Edge and Batuu — the on-the-ground Star Wars world at the park — will play into the experience, too.
In order to keep up the appearance of being on a ship in the middle of a galaxy far, far away, the food needs to help drive the narrative. The Imagineers and chefs behind Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser have been working hard to create a menu that not only tastes good but looks the part. From playing with textures to using bright colors — like purple spaghetti — the food will pop. Expect to see lots of social media posts about the food when the hotel opens.
The Galactic Starcruiser is set to launch in spring 2022, but an exact date has not been announced yet. For all of the excitement surrounding this one-of-a-kind experience, patience is a must, because it could be a while before you’re able to secure a reservation to the hottest hotel in the galaxy.
UPDATE: Disney has released new details about the Galactic Starcruiser, including the price: a two-night stay will cost $4,809 for two people, $5,299 for three, and $5,999 for four.

"Every Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser vacation package includes a two-night stay in a well-appointed cabin or suite, meals (excluding alcoholic and specialty beverages) and the opportunity to live your Star Wars story through exclusive experiences, missions and activities. The vacation adventure also includes entry to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge—as well as the rest of Disney’s Hollywood Studios—for your planetary excursion to Batuu. Valet parking is also included."
