There’s an image of [SPOILER] on the set of Spider-Man: No Way Home
By WiC Staff
Sony and Marvel are having a tricky week. The other day, an unfinished trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home leaked online, and has now spread over the internet despite the best efforts of the companies to suppress it. The trailer didn’t absolutely confirm some of the many rumors we’ve been hearing about the film — namely that it will feature Peter Parker exploring the multiverse and include a who’s who of cameos from Spider-Man actors past and present — but it does seem to hint at that being the cast.
And now, yet another of those rumors seem confirmed. Images have leaked online of none other than (last chance to turn back lest you be exposed to SPOILERS) Andrew Garfield on the set of Spider-Man: No Way Home wearing the Spider-suit. And no, we’re not going to embed them here or even link to them — we don’t want Disney snipes after us — but if you do a little internet sleuthing you can probably find them without much trouble.
Garfield played Spider-Man in 2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man and 2014’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Word is that No Way Home will use the multiverse gimmick to bring different Spider-franchises together.
Looks like Andrew Garfield is in Spider-Man: No Way Home
And Garfield is just the tip of the iceberg. Alfred Molina has already confirmed that he’s returning as Doctor Octopus (whether Sony and Marvel are happy with that is an open question) and there have been lots of other reports of other returning actors. It’s going to be a regular Spider-fest.
Spider-Man: No Way Home comes out on December 17, 2021.
